A late 19th Century Stevens and Williams glass posy bowl, decorated with an opal pulled loop on citron cased in pink glass, raised to three scroll feet with applied raspberry prunt to pontil.

Fantastic condition with no chips or cracks.

Stevens & Williams was an English glass company located in Stourbridge, established in 1776 under the name of Honeybourne, and is one of the oldest crystal glass brands in England. Designed as a flower or rose bowl but also works very well as a fairy lamp, the shadow it cast is spectacular.
