Very Large and rare Victorian Stevens & Williams Peach Blown Amber Crest Art Glass Vase Ruffled Edge and Applied Glass Leaves Oak Leaf Pattern Uranium Glass.
The double-opening form is rare.
A wonderful Victorian 1890's opaque custard glass vase, with applied amber edging to the crimped rim, and amber frilled decoration. Small amounts of uranium in the glass cause it to glow bright green in UV light, note: images taken with UV light torch, 395nm wavelength.
From the Sevens and Williams Glass factory in Stourbridge area of the UK.
mint condition, no chips or cracks to the glass.
