Pair Victorian John Walsh Walsh Vaseline Strawberry Or Sherbet Bowls c1880
A wonderful Victorian yellow Vaseline Uranium glass with applied rim, circa 1880's. Made in vaseline/uranium yellow green glass, with an interesting rippled design trapped within the glass created when the bowls are returned to the heat in the glass kiln.
British in origin, Made by specialist glass maker John Walsh Walsh.
Both Bowls have a polished pontil mark to base, which is a sign of quality finished glass wear.
Both bowls glows bright green in UV light, note: images taken with UV light torch, 395nm wavelength.
Mint condition, no chips or cracks.
