Rare Burtles, Tate and Co (Manchester) Striped Vaseline Glass c1895 with Applied Glass Flowers.

A beautiful Victorian art glass with an applied daisy flower and uranium and opalescent glass. It has been . A lovely and rare example of an Art Nouveau vaseline glass bowl by Burtles, Tate and Company of Manchester. Of free-blown form with a striped vaseline body and applied pink opalescent flowers;

Brilliant Glow, will be the key piece in any collection, note: images taken with UV light torch, 395nm wavelength.

Condition is good, but please be aware of a few minor faults, small International crack to the base, cannot be felt on source of glass, also a crack along the front obscured by the applied glass, again internal and not felt on the surface. One of the petals have been knocked off but doesn't remove from the beauty of this rare gem considering its age.
