£110.00

Davidson of Gateshead 'Lady Chippendale' pattern Vaseline glass open salts with a silver spoon.

A lovely open salt in the early and hard to find 'Lady Chippendale' pattern registered in 1881. The yellow or primrose pearline works beautifully and shows the design well on this neat little shape. Excellent condition - no chips or cracks.

Rare to find salts as the pair, they are usually split up.

Fantastic bright green glow under uv backlight, note: images taken with UV light torch, 395nm wavelength.

Fantastic condition, no chips or cracks, minor surface grazing on underside of feet, as to be expected.

Diameter 6.5cm (2.55in)

All items are sensitively and minimally cleaned

Any questions please don't hesitate to drop me a message. I am very happy to pass on any additional information, or images you may need, if you are interested in more than one item I can arrange a combined postage price. Many thanks.
